I just purchased a 6 star Ace Buchan board that I'm sure you shaped, would this be true?

Hey Jason,
I'm up for a new board. I am 188 cm and 77 Kg's and an intermediate surfer. I would like to get a fish style board and like the sound of the voodoo. I surf 2-5 foot waves from Gold Coast down to Ballina. All my boards have been hand me downs from my bro. I'm not sure what size or volume to get so any advice would be great, i want to buy a board in the next 2-4 weeks. Cheers Brett 0409575412

Hey Brett, I would aim at something between 28 – 33 L. There is a bit of room for play in there depending on the board. For the Voodoo, maybe look at something like the 5'9 or 5'10…if you feel you need a little more length, don't hesitate!

The best all round shortboard I have ever ridden. The last one was extremely durable and I rode it in diverse conditions way outside what I would have considered viable. So good that I replaced it like for like. Everything the same. I am 51 years old of intermediate ability and fitness. I would have laughed if told 10 years ago my "go to" board would be 6'1 at my age.

Awesome board, performs how the description says it does. I prefer it as a quad but it also goes well as a thruster.
