The Navistar Surf Charter Boat is a fully air-conditioned, catered vessel complete with two tenders to serve up to 8 surfers on their Mentawais Surf Trip. Launched in Australia in 1998, the Navistar Surf Charter began chartering surfers in the Mentawais in 1999.
Some of the boats features include:
- Accomodation that sleeps 8 passengers comfortably with extra 'hang-out' areas
- Two Tenders - one for transfers to and from the surf and the other an 5.4m aluminum speedboat for fishing or finding other waves
- Fishing gear - Trolling rods, Spinning rods, hand lines and spear guns
- Chef cooking 3 meals per day
