The build quality of chilli surfboards is amazing, quality craftsmanship, second to none. The model that I own is the MIAMI SPICE. The Miami’ spice is a performance style, high volume groveller. Great board when the waves are weak, or for summer conditions. Flat rocker with just enough nose lift, manoeuvres quite well with the pulled in double bump tail. Large sweet spot, very forgiving if your front foot position isn’t perfect. This board is FUN, paddles like a champion, gets you in early. Performance isn’t compromised, board is loose and fast. i think this board is a good choice for people of all ability levels, if you’re transitioning down from a mini mal, bump the dimensions up, more advanced surfers could surf this board much smaller. Purchase this board, you will not be disappointed

The Chilli faded is a bigger fuller board compared to other short boards. It has a lot of volume under the chest which means it glides into waves easy especially useful when it gets bigger and heavier. I found it super critical in high quality sections.

The volume 2 is amazing, It goes on rail so well and I can drive through cutbacks with full power without feeling like I’ll slip out, super drivey with futures AM2. Best board I’ve ever ridden Would recommend for 2-6 foot

I loved the rare bird and wanted an all rounder that felt similar, the oh one is a good wave board that works best in steeper faced waves, it has a bit more volume that sits slightly forward and heaps of drive, I took this board to Samoa and it was great in the reef breaks and barrels at any size, the waves there are hollow, and the walled sections are steep so even in bigger days you don’t want a big board. The rails are slightly fuller and the nose is less knify than my other good wave boards, the round tail is great for hitting steep sections and has a very solid feeling.

Good board. Paddles great. Fast board. Came with a deep single concave all the way through to a very slight double under the fins. Gets a bit loose above head high. Only let down is the glassing. Seems to ding pretty easily in places.

Really good board, surfs amazing in small beaches and reef breaks. Taken it to Fiji a few times and it hasn’t snapped yet. Fast and good on the rails.
