Love my Sweet Spot - its snappiness when doing a re-entry and its hold when doing open faced carves are excellent.. I've got a few boards and this is my favourite when waves are pumping.

I love this board. My previous step-up was a locally shaped 6'4" 34L board. Goes great when conditions are nice but was finding paddle power and early entries a challenge as I get a little older and heavier. Also needed something to navigate larger beach break conditions. My new 6'6" Sweet Spot addresses all these concerns. Had about a dozen surfs on it. Futures plugs and got a 5-set of F8's for this board. The board performs nicely as a thruster in 2-3ft+, and I've found it works well as a quad once comfortably overhead (liking the symmetrical foil on the F8 quad rears, first time I've tried these). Super stable and high quality board!

Great board for what it's made for: bigger waves. Great control. I normally ride a 6'1 shortboard and went for the 6'2"" on the Sweet Spot. Definitely the right choice.

The boards a good step up for one the swells overhead and solid let’s u do massive turns and snaps without sliding out, paddles like a beast and connects turns together perfectly. One of the best step up boards I’ve had works best in over 4ft. The boards 6 ounce glassing has helped it survive through stand up slabbin kegs and the heaviness cause of the thicker glassing works in its favour so that it holds to the wave more and lefts u push your turns harder.

Took this board to Hawaii at the start of February before Covid. It was my short board. Had some great sessions at Rocky Rights , Backyards, Velzyland and Makaha. This board was really good for me in 3-5ft. Good waves. Thoroughly recommend this board as a step up. Perfect travel board.

Had a great first session on this board. While waves had some size and power conditions were a bit bumpy but the board performed extremely well. I bought it as a step up for planned Indo trip at the end of the year (now canned) and wanted some extra paddle power for longer sessions in the water. Looking forward to trying it on some better quality waves.

As an old bloke getting back into riding performance boards I was pleasantly surprised by the ease in which the Sweet Spot picked up waves. I was expecting a hard paddle to catch waves but the 6' 6" just glided into them. Once the rails dug in it was very easy to manoeuvre and set up for the next turn. I was also worried about having the extra volume under my chest but I hardly noticed it. The plan was to use the Sweet Spot as my step up board for a trip to Indo but that is on hold now. Just have to keep practicing on West coast of Victoria waves.
