The optimal conditions for this I found was around the shoulder high wave mark espicallly when the waves were a bit more steeper and powerful. But the board still provided when the waves were a bit smaller and less powerful, still being able to find speed when trying to get align the wave.

Your best board in 1-3 foot beak breaks. Quick, zippy and never more than a pump away from top speed. Riding 3” shorter than my short board, there’s a lot of valuable volume which gets you into most waves. The volume on such a short board gets me down the line with easy without bogging a rail as a heavy front-foot surfer. Double concave through the tail adds to the pace and great release from turns. This board changed the way I surfed small waves, and I’m thankful for it!

I think this board can be ridden in waves larger than 3ft as well. I have ridden and seen people ride in waves up to 6-7ft. Its got good speed and release and fairs well in most conditions. All-round fun board.
