I have the Libtech version of the QK which is no doubt stronger than PU but dings still happen from a solid blow. I find this board as easy to paddle and catch waves as my 39L PJHP. In small surf it's still fun but definitely feel a bit more length and swing weight affecting agility. I generally prefer the feel of a thruster but I'd say the best this board has performed for me is in bigger surf on a quad.. just like its on rails and completely confident in handling powerful waves (solid well overhead, but not hollow/barreling). For me, this is my go to in anything approaching head high and above and bigger, fatter waves.

Epic board, perfect for everyday small to medium waves and beach breaks, which if we’re honest are the conditions that we find ourselves in regularly. Heaps of paddle power & foam under the chest, which really helps get you in on the wave early ahead of the crowds & will definitely increase your wave count. The Lightspeed EPS construction takes it to a whole new level, it’s ridiculously light and fast. This thing flies. As a beginner-intermediate it really helped advance my surfing heaps as it got me to the pocket a lot quicker, especially in beach breaks where your time on the wave is limited. Put it under your arm & you’ll feel the difference. Fantastic board!

I bought this board as a step down board from 38 litres and noticed my surfing progress amazingly quick, the cut in shape at the tail really helps with throwing your turns in and getting a better angle, these rails are by far my favourite and surfing from rail to rail was easy and have plenty of hold, plenty of foam underneath the chest to help with that paddle in power, the overall quality of the glass work is amazing and strong, getting very few pressure dings and have taken some hard wipeouts with it without a scratch, would defiantly buy again

I have ridden this board for the last 3 months and have definitely enjoyed my time on it. The good: On 2+ ft waves the board has good drive and is easy to turn. Initially moving to this board from a PU set up I noticed the a large increase in speed of my first bottom turn, I believe the rails were made well on this board. as a side note after all the surfing I have done on it no pressure dings are present. The bad: The reason this board scores middle of the pact for me is I wanted it as an everyday board. When you surf 1 ft or slightly fatter 2ft waves you feel sluggish and slow for whatever reason. Also as an everyday board you want it to be durable and I have noticed micro cracks at the bottom and sides of the board when it has never been dropped or anything of that regard. As for paddling, its sinks like quicksand in foam. Overall: I think this board is a selective one which should be chosen to surf in ideal conditions. When surfed in variety of surf conditions I believe it falls to middle of the pack but can be so much more in solid 3 ft waves that are surfed in the pocket.

Loved this board as a favourite in the quiver. Even rode it over my short boards in 4ft! Gets onto waves with ease.

Unreal board, best I have ridden hands down. Plenty of drive, performs well in the pocket and the epoxy seems indestructible

Second lost board I’ve owned. Really fun board that turns well while also being easy to paddle. It’s a wider board with not too much rocker, a pulled in nose and fun fish tail that works in a wide range of condition, waist to overhead. Would recommend

Great board for anything from 2 - 6ft days. Grovels well on small days, really zippy & maneuverable. Can hold rail on bigger days too. Easy to paddle, and very stable. Fun little board all round. Riding as a quad. Definitely recommended.

Great one board quiver. I would probably not use it in 1-2 surf, it needs more to get going, and it also reaches its limits (or I do) when it's getting overhead. For big days I'd get something narrower.

I purchased the 5'10 because my normal shortboard is 6'0 and I drive off my rail heaps so usually shorter boards are not drivey enough for my liking but due to the wider tail it keeps a straighter rail line which I enjoyed. It had 31.5 litres which is 3 litres more, if I had my time again I would have bought one with my usual volume then it would have surfed way better. It was a fun experiment trying this board as I've been shaping and riding my own boards for 15years it was just too floaty for me.
