Bought this board in the hope of finding the perfect all rounder - and it was just that. Board paddles super easily and covers such a broad spectrum of waves. Have ridden it in sloppy 1-2ft beach breaks to 3-5ft point breaks and covers the range well. It does prefer a slightly more open face wave with a bit more push behind it, but has a lot to like about it in the mushy stuff. If you're after an all round board, this is definitely for you.

An awesome all round board that can be used in nearly any condition whether it’s shoulder high or double overhead, this board can take it on with ease. It’s shape allows big drives on solid faces and it feels like you have maximum control on a wave. An awesome step-up board that I would recommend to anyone!

The best board I have owned. Paddles well. So fast, it just seems to make sections I haven't made before. Turns well when the back foot is in the right position. Having such a wide tail I have found my foot needs to be just right to get maximum fun. The board has seen a few 8' days and it managed but the tail of course was struggling. It surfs best in 2'-5'. I surf it as a quad always. I wouldn't change a thing.

Bought this to make the most of very average Darwin cyclone swells. Have surfed in 2-4ft solid clean waves in Indo, was so much fun. Pretty skatey when surf got over head. Surfed in wind slop on Darwin and found it a bit tricky, definitely prefers the cleaner open face, like any fishy board I have ridden I suppose. Just had a normal quad medium sized fin in them. Now have a set of lost seaworthy fins so be interesting to see how it goes now. I thought around 34L was going to be plenty (it is for me when surfing) but board sits a bit low when paddling so suggest if you’re around my size head more toward 36 L or up.

Great board for small to head high surf. When running as a quad setup this board has a lot of speed which means making sections on low power point breaks are a breeze.

This board is a great all rounder, holds the big stuff and picks up the small stuff. An essential board to keep with you at all times, lots of fun for all experience levels, all your mates would want a splash.

Great all round groveller. Holds up well in bigger surf too. Definitely the board I surf the most and one of the funnest and best boards I have owned. Would highly recommend.

Nice shape , fish tail , edge holds face , not super manoeuvrable but mine is 7’6” I guess and I’m best part of 100kg. I moved up to this from an 8ft mini mal. Ridden it in 2-4/5 ft . Manages in all those. Might be a touch long at 7’6 for anything too steep. Nice all rounder.

This was recommended by Matt at Surfboard Empire as a good option for getting back into surfing off a back injury. The tail is really wide so there's a lot of lift there to help you through slower sections and the rails are full. I ordered the PU because I needed to go custom for Futures fin boxes but for some extra help in mushy surf and longevity the C4 construction is worth a look. This would make an ideal first shortboard stepping down from a longboard or fun board, or sized down as a groveller that can still hold in waist to shoulder high surf.

This is an amazing board!!! Surfs so well as a quad! When offshore in any size wave I wouldn’t go anything else. Unfortunately my one is all dinged up around the tail as it’s really thin in the tail but even still perfect board for all abilities. I also find the rocket tail generates extra spray.
