This board is perfect for those who need more volume but still want to ride a performance short board. It works very well in anything from smaller fat waves to heavy steep waves up to a couple of feet over head.

I wanted a board that was an everyday small surf go-to and the Short Round is perfect. It has plenty of paddle power and turns on a dime despite being 6'3" and 40L. I need a bit of extra float so I added a bit more thickness with the help of Todd from Boardcave and the dims don't compromise performance in all the conditions I surf. Service is 1st class; the board arrived with a ding in the nose from the carrier and Boardcave replaced with out question. I've it now for over 12 months and still really enjoy the Short Round.

This board makes average waves fun, it's so fast and is really easy to put on rail. Rides like a performance board but with a touch more volume so it's not quite as manoeuvrable as a pure performance board. Holds up in head high plus conditions, but is more suited to 1-6 foot faces. Great in barrelling conditions, I got it as a fun board but it's a serious all rounder. When this gets run into the ground from frequent use I will be buying another, probably an epoxy model which in theory could be even better. I ride 5'8" shortboards at 25-26L so I've gone a little higher in volume with this board (5'3") and it's perfect!

A great blend of paddle power and manoeuvrability, as an older guy refusing to go a big board this is perfect. Early entry into the waves is always a bonus and once on your feet there are no compromises. Great on the smaller days also with enough speed and flotation to keep going. Off to the Pacific in a fortnight, can’t wait!

This board is absolutely wicked. Insanely good maneuverability. The board holds in overhead and hollow waves as well as being able to perform in small sloppy 1-2 ft conditions, nice drive and speed down the face. This board is a great all-rounder and am super stoked on it.

Excellent board for all conditions, not just small groveller waves, been ridden in double overhead beachies, went very good, such a smooth ride to it, using fcs 2 mick fanning large fins.

Great board in everyday conditions found I loved it more as a quad. Got it in the epoxy carbon tech and seems to be holding up well. Only thing after 2 years is one of the fcs2 boxes has come loose which I think is a design problem not the boards. Overall would purchase again maybe in futures .

Paddles well for what it is, turns solid but still offers release if you ask it. Would recommend for sure.
