I bought a 6'8" standard specs. Which at 41.5L was in the calculated litre range for me. I have found this board to be extremely easy to paddle and catch waves on. For me it performs better in 4' - 6' when you don't have to generate much of own speed. It's very stable even in choppy conditions, but you can still throw the tail around and cut back hard when required. I've fount it harder to generate speed and manoeuvre in the smaller surf and for me, I would probably go slightly shorter in this model if this was your only board and you mainly surfed smaller waves. Overall I'm pleased with this board as I bought it to fill a niche in the 4' - 6' days which I've found it handles well.

I was drawn to this board as a shorter alternative to my mal so I can progress my abilities. The free fins and twin-fin (w/stabilizer) setup added to an already great deal. I'm very impressed by this board! It feels great and I would recommend this board to anyone. The great price and free fins make it a no-brainer for someone who is looking to progress while not breaking the bank. I can't wait to get out and ride it more!!
