First surf 8-12ft. Was worried about the volume at first and manoeuvrability. That was all over on the first wave. Paddle power works due to foam distribution. The quad set up is ideal for this board. Can draw fast long bottom hand turns on it. With the foam tapered down in the tail and the quad set up this gives you the manoeuvrability fora 45 litre board. Was blown away by it. Best big board I’ve ever ridden. Thoroughly recommend it.

Excellent paddler, great drive and speed, holds a high critical line thru hollow sections , and bottom turns are solid and reliable.. It a a big board that can be surfed with a short board style in solid waves. I haven’t used it in smaller weak waves . But I think it could still be fun . I’ve now bought three Padillacs , a 6’10, 7’4”, and 8’0”
