Hi, I want a short board that is very easy and fast paddling. I have been surfing for 40yrs and over the last 10yrs I have switched to a long board as I was finding it very hard to pick up waves on my short board and when I could pick up a wave the younger light blokes were already on the wave. I miss riding a short board but struggle getting speed when paddling. I am 62yrs and 82kgs and 5'10 tall, I am not into large wave any more maybe 2-5ft. I was thinking

Hi Paul, in yoru case you have picked a great board for what you want…I would advise going a little bigger than you normally would on this model then…the 6'0 or even better the 6'2 will paddle more like your longboard but still give you enough manuverability to hold some performance.
