Best For:

The Lost Rounded Pin Puddle Jumper is great for riding small waves with ease but also goes well in larger waves. The curvier outline combined with some extra end rocker helps it to fit better in tight radius beach breaks while holding long arcs with control in large, open face point and reef waves... all without losing paddle power and stability.

Which board will perform better in bigger waves? the PJRP or the Sretch RV.
Thanks

Hi Darkey, I would recommend the PJRP, it's got slightly more rocker than the stretch RV to help fit into the pocket of the wave when conditions are bigger, the drawn in pin tail will also give you plenty of hold in the barrel.

I would like to order the pjrp in 6.5, in epoxy carbon wrap, with about 47l. How thick does the board has to be to achieve that. How long would it take including delivery? Also, is it best as thruster or quad?

Hi Michael, The puddle jumper comes standard with the 5 fin option, that way you can ride as a thruster or a quad depending on the conditions, the board goes great as both a thruster and quad. Boards manufactured in epoxy do take 2 – 3 weeks longer than standard PU boards. manufacturing time for an epoxy board is roughly 6 – 7 weeks. 6'5 x 22 1/2 x 2 7/8 (which will be roughly 47 litres) to get the best performance from this model.

Good fun board for smaller days but can handle the medium size stuff with no problems at all. A lot more maneuvreable than I would have thought.
