Lost Surfboards

V2 Rocket

Manufactured in Australia
Manufacturing Time:
~ 6 Weeks
The Purpose:

The Lost V2 Rocket is designed as an everyday high performance hybrid. With a little extra width through the mid section the board is naturally fast, especially on the front foot. It's great for getting in early and increasing your wave count with the extra nose width. The V2 Rocket is an easier shortboard to ride for intermediate surfers in small or weak waves.

Paddles superbly. I'm getting into waves earlier than on my old shortboard (6'2" John Carper NX-1) with speed right from take-off. Finding I can hold much more speed through big drawn out carves. Feel like I'm surfing better and really driving through turns rather than nursing them. Had some incredible surfs in 3-5ft beach break. Holds really well in punchier low tide waves and I've had enough volume to carve up the faces when it's been fuller-tide. Only time I haven't loved it is when it's been barely 2ft. Thought I'd see how it went and it was ok, but would have had more fun on my Seaglass Albacore finless. Didn't buy it as a proper groveller and it's not. Been riding it as a thruster with Futures AM1 Blackstix. Haven't tried it as a quad.

Super fast, nimble board! Haven't even considered taking any other board out since this guarantees maximum fun in 1-5ft surf!
