Lost Surfboards

Quiver Killer

Manufactured in Australia
Manufacturing Time:
~ 6 Weeks
The Purpose:

The Quiver Killer does exactly what the name implies. This board was built off the bones of the popular Short Round, only slightly elongated refined with a nose that is pulled in a touch, and a nice round tail with some width in the fins. This board excels in good surf, and is still a blast when it is knee - waist high. The perfect go-to for 90% of your surfing.

Rocker:

Moderate entry rocker slightly more than the Short Round.

Rail:

Medium down rail slightly sharper and thinned out in the tail than the Short Round.

Hey Guys what's your take on the differences between this board and the Lost V3 Round It?

Hi Nathan. The quiver killer has more volume up towards the nose of the board for easy paddling and helps with getting into waves earlier. The quiver killer also has a more drawn in pin tail which will allow the board to fit better in the pocket of the wave and hold better in a steeper wave face.

I have a Quiver Killer 5´11-20´-2 7/16 and I love the board. It´s a quiver Killer for sure! It can handle big waves (double overhead) and in small conditions too. Easy paddle board, easy to catch waves, can handle heavy drops, 5/5 on movability and fast. I recommend it 100%. Second lost surfboard I have and one of the best boards I´ve ever surfed in.

Hi guys, I am mostly surfing a JS evolution for the last 18 months as the main board of choice, what do you think the main differences would be using the QK?

hello i would like to buy this board (epoxy extra strong) ….but i'm from italy….anyone could help me to organize shipping??

Hi Pirro,

Hope you're well.

At the moment we do not currently offer international shipping, however in the past customers have arranged their own international shipping. 2 companies that we recommend are DHL and UPS. You can get a quote from their website. Alternatively we could have the board shipped to a friend in Australia and they could bring the board back to Italy with them if they were heading over there in the near future.

Cheers,

Hi Mark, the main defference between these 2 models is there is more volume packed into the quiver killer which means you can ride it a little shorter than you would ride the evolution. Riding the board a little shorter may also increase your maneouvarability when riding the quiver killer. Or you can ride the quiver killer in the same size as the evolution but will have more volume in the quiver killer which will incease your paddle power and wave count.

Hey fellas.
Quick one…..what fins (fcs2) would you recommend for an indo trip on the 6'3 stock quiver killer if I got one? I'm 96kg. Was thinking the biolos/lost 5 fin set? But dunno.
Cheers Dick

Hey Dick, I would recommend the FCS II carvers in a large when surfing this board in Indo waves. We have a quad set and thruster set available.

You could go with the FCS II Matt Biolos large FCS II fins in a large for surfing every day conditions around home.

Surfed on the Gold Coast point & beachies in small to pumping conditions. Even managed to contest long boards at Arrawara for a week-end. Take-off easy in weaker conditions and hold in fast hollow waves... this board does it all!

The Lost Quiver Killer is just a great board for me with extra volume but it doesn't compromise speed and maneuverability with enough rocker in the nose for steep drops. Goes well on small and big days and as I'm now past 60 its perfect for every sort of session and loads of paddle power for older tired arms!!
