The Purpose:
The HSV by MH Surfboards is your go to board for when the surf turns on. The HSV performs well in powerful waves having being tested in Indonesia, Tahiti, Kirra, Ours (Sydney) and Straddie. It’s important to have a good board for perfect conditions. It goes well in the barrel with plenty of speed and hold for fast powerful carves. The pulled in tail allows it to turn nice and sharp for keeping it in the pocket.
Rocker:
The medium nose entry with a gradual bottom curve gives the HSV great drive and speed. It also offers easy entry onto waves. The late tail kick offers additional response for tight movability in the pocket.
Rail:
The medium to low boxy rails gives you the ability to go vertical and maintain the drive when pushing from rail to rail.
Concave:
It features a single concave from the nose to the middle of the board and finishes with a double concave between the fins which maintains lift and directs the water release for maneuverability.
Best For:
High performance surfing the MH HSV is a must have for the traveling surfer or anyone looking to surf good waves. Any surfers who visit Indonesia, Tahiti, Kirra or Straddie and enjoy hunting barrels will enjoy the HSV. It's refined outline is perfect for critical surfing. It will hold up in most conditions, perfect for travelling around the world.
