The BV2 By Chilli Surfboards is developed for summer waves. This is a new model based on the well-known Black Vulture. The BV2 belongs to the summer board category and is meant to be faster and more responsive than the original. We combined aspects from the original Black Vulture to produce a speed producing board with a big sweet spot, keeping smaller, weaker waves in mind while building this board.

The design has a full nose for paddle power and speed in flat/fat surf. The wide point is somewhat further forwards than on a conventional board, and the centre portion is curvy (good rail line to turn from). We removed the semi-flyer from the original Black Vulture's tail and replaced it with a straighter rail line into the swallow, giving this board more grip and control in turns.

This board will offer more release with a Twin + 1 fin set. However, if you want more control and hold use your normal thruster set.
