MF LIGHTNING () - 5' 10" x 19 1/8" x 2 7/16" x 28.5L - FCS II

The MF Lightning by DHD is a board based of Mick's tour tinning DNA model. It features the same foundation, but has had some fine tuning to provide even more performance for every day. The refinements give you a faster and sharper board that absolutely delivers in smaller surf, but is still capable of tackling larger, less powerful waves.

The tail rocker is the same as you see in the DNA model, but is straightened between the feet for added speed, and has an increased nose lift to help in the pocket. It features a flatter concave under the front foot to help with acceleration, and has a deep single concave in between the fins. The squash tail is a bit narrower, and the nose is also slightly more narrow with some extra flip. The deck has been flattened to give you extra foam under your chest and the rails have been dropped to give you extra sensitivity. They've also made some adjustments to the fin placement, moving the rear fin forward 1/8" for a tighter turning radius.

Size Recommendation: purchase in the same size as your regular performance short board.
