The Mollusc loves a cleaner open faced wave with room for drawn out cutbacks and off the top turns. The slightly wider outline and slightly lower rocker keep you speed up when there is less power in the wave. The round tail and bottom contours allow this board to flow nicely around the face of the wave.

This is my go to board when I wanna surf bigger and steeper waves. I get launched into them easy with its easy paddling capability. The shape can handle steep drops and the outline is great for turns and cuts closer to a pro model than a fun shape but with both advantages.

I bought this as a board that would be easier to paddle as I'm getting older. It works exceptionally well in waves over 2 feet but struggles (like most short boards) in mush under 2 feet. When the surf picks up is comes into its own. Stable and still loose. Great board for smaller waves.
