Blak Box 2 Squash Tail HYFI surfboard reviews

Review is on my first few rides surfing decent but full waves at Moffats. it paddles fast. The takeoff is stable and feels great having a shortish board under my feet. This piece of equipment suited the waves so I’m stoked.

My favourite board I’ve owned so far. Plenty of energy, responsive and fast. Best waves on it have been in the 3-4 foot range where it has been very comfortable on the face (not an air surfer). Build quality was great- took far more beatings than I would’ve expected from a board. Would easily go another one, especially in the hyfi.

The bb3 goes great in surf with some push, usually 3 feet and over. Can tonight to get going and take off on gutless waves. Once going it flies, my first eps and I now understand the impact ofthe flex it has.

Excellent small wave board. Extremely zippy and fast, especially in the HYFI. Easy paddler with plenty of foam under the chest. Performs best in 1 to 4ft waves, including ordinary slop.

This is my favourite board in most conditions. Will give you response and stability in 2’ mush through to 6’ grinders. A quick change in fin set-up to suit the conditions, and you’re sorted. The construction is super light and as a performance board, is fast and had me surfing 20% better right away. Great in the pocket and with critical top-to-bottom maneuvers. Single to double concave gives you good release to move into that next move with paces. Never felt this board under-performed In any conditions. Would recommend.

Best board I have ever owned it feels like your cheating when riding it everything becomes easier it is now 4yrs old and I have bought numerous new boards since but I keep going back to this board nothing seems to have the get up and go like this I have tried the blackbox3 in hyfi swallow tail good board but I keep going back to old faithful.
