Fun little skate/like board that allows quick maneuvers. I prefer it as a quad than a thruster. With the thruster I feel like it’s a little bit too slow in small waves but perhaps it will work with slightly bigger fins. A good board overall

The Fling is a hell of a fish. The tail exit assists in creating fast turns for the thickness in the middle of the board. I found that for my weight the 5'8 even worked well under my feet but I could even go for a 6 or higher

I love this board - sometimes a little too much - and end up surfing it when I should be surfing my standard HP board. I got the 5’10” in SuperFlex. And it’s lasted really well. It’s so awesome for smaller beachies, fat rolling beach break days and also smaller reef days. Heaps of paddle gets you in early and has so much drive and speed. I typically surf as a quad. It feels super smooth and stable - great rebound off the foam. Despite the volume it gets on rail and turns well in the pocket. It has improved my surfing and I enjoy small days surfing this board way more than I used too - it’s a great step down board that can easily perform.

Really easy to paddle and fun in smaller swell. Really good board to go down to as someone’s first short board after a mini mal or similar as you don’t lose your paddle power

The board goes really well. I ordered it with extra strong glassing and am really impressed with how strong it is, and the weight it adds is hardly noticeable. With this board I'd actually recommend sticking to your usual volume, even if it means going shorter than you expect. I usually get boards around 39L so I think I could've got away with the next stock size down. If you're in doubt go shorter. I'm happy with my 6'0"" regardless, because it's a very easy board to catch waves on and is very fast and stable. I also prefer a larger thruster fin set, rather than quads on it (using Futures F8s).
