Super fun board for small waves - easy to paddle, incredibly manoeuvrable and will have you flying across those fat sections with buttery-ease, ready to boost off or jam the end-section to the rousing applause of onlookers and awe-struck kids on bodyboards. You take a moment to let it all sink in; people oggle at you from the shoreline and then the thoughts start to creep in - should you be negotiating for 6 or 7 figures on your next contract? It doesn't matter though because you're stoked - too stoked to care about the corporate side of things and ready to paddle-battle your way back into the lineup for the next one. Mahalo.

Great board for fast beachies or reefs. Get your feet in the right spot and it flies and does the funnest turns on your forehand. You have to obviously change things up on your back hand and does Twinny things, but it's not too bad once you get used to it. A different feeling and very addictive once you get the hang of it. It's really flat so not so great in ledgey waves. If I was a natural footer and lived on the sunshine coast or goldy or NSW bam get it. . I live in SW WA but still super fun. Makes me want to get more performance twinnies and explore those more...It paddles so we'll and almost feels like your cheating getting into waves where regular dudes on low volume shortboards are yelling F%#&k cos theyre struggling to catch waves.

I farkin love this board so much I can't even tell ya (except I am gonna tell ya)! It's been a real magic board gamechanger for me - and seems to work well in all sorts of conditions 2-5 ft, offshore, onshore, sideshore. It's fast and manoeuvrable, offering that critical bit of squirt/whip through the final part of turns. Extra volume under the chest makes it paddle fast and also stable on landings from floaters or end section whacks. Holds well through the barrel. Yep, I'm frothing. Love the board, love Gnech. An epic combo of fun and performance. Get one!

Fun board for mid range 3-4ft beach breaks, super stable, great for sitting in the pocket, getting barrelled and just cruising.

A good paddler with some good speed to offer. I found this board a decent all-rounder ready for a range of conditions but maybe lacking a little on the snappiness and drive through turns. I also had a little bit of delamination occur on one of the rails so wasn't overly impressed with the build and quality of the board.

Feels like a really good standard shortboard up until half way through your turn when it just accelerates out of nowhere. So fun! I asked for extra thick glassing which probably effected the manoeuvrability a little but still very responsive.

This board is all time! Great on smaller days, but have been riding it in all conditions since I got it. 2ft beachies to 4-5 ft beachies mainly. Great down the line speed, and so easy to paddle into the wave early, just feels like I have more time on this board. If I make a small mistake with foot placement I'll still be zipping down the line and have time to adjust! I've had a HS Hypto Krypto and a Lost V3 Rocket, which both I really enjoyed, but the Vampirate Inflatable Mattress kills it compared to them!
