ordered a sub driver as a step down from a driver to surf in 1-2 ft surf, good idea in theory but it's really ...lost. no real spark in it, no pop, not really happy with it altogether. have boards with identical dimensions that are way better. not happy with finish on and around fin plugs either.

Its a fire cracker! Really have to start doing my stretches again! Great little board... Making me feel twenty again... Flying around and over sections... Drive from fin and rail... Release that little bit of rail you have and your sliding baby! A lot of fun... Recken its going to be fun when it gets head high.

This is probably the best board I've ever bought, so versatile! I've surfed it in everything from 1ft sloppy weak beach breaks to 4-6ft reef/point breaks and it goes so good in everything! Fast, holds on, gets on rail really well and holds all the way through roundhouses. You can really release at the end of your turns as well! Love this board!!

Since I have been riding this board it has improved my surfing dramatically !
I went back and forth a couple of times with the Boardcave team until we selected the correct board for me.
Definitely good service,and definitely the best board I have had to date !

Nice cruiser compared to comp style shortboards.
Will still get vert in the pocket and handle solid waves.
Likes bigger waves with a nice wall that just need to be torn apart.
