The Shortie Youth is a performance shortboard designed for groms between 35kg and 60kg who are ready to take their surfing to the next level. Based on Chilli’s high-performance Shortie, this scaled-down version features a squash tail and refined dimensions to suit intermediate to advanced young surfers. Described by Jack Robinson as a board that’s “easy to ride, you just jump on and surf,” the Shortie Youth offers a forgiving, high-performance feel. Developed with input from Adriano de Souza during his final WSL year, it features:

A balanced nose-to-tail rocker for a generous sweet spot
Moderate single concave for speed and drive
Semi-rounded pin tail for control in the pocket

Ideal for waves from 2 to 6 feet, this board is a versatile driver that fits seamlessly into the Chilli range. Finished with Chilli’s updated ‘shadow’ Peppa logo and rail sprays available in three colour options.
