Josh Kerr's Self Shape Asymmetric

Now Josh Kerr seems to be thinking outside the box...with (little) help from master surfboard shaper Rusty Preisendorfer of Rusty Surfboards, Josh whipped up this tidy little asymmetrical surfboard dubbed the Bi Poler. But that wasn't the end of it. Kerrzy, surfing his round 4 heat against Aritz Aranburu and Wiggolly Dantas, breaks his go to stick so decides this might be a good time to give the Bi Polar a go in the heaving walls of rough looking Chopes. He drops into a bomb, stands tall and gets blown out of a 7.87 barrel to clinch the heat. Pretty convincing argument on the attributes of asymmetric surfboards...I wonder how long until we see these boards regularly surfed in contests.
