The Flat Jack by SMTH Shapes is a round tail board designed by Jordy Smith to allow for quicker rail to rail transitions and fast pocket turns while maintaining speed and control. Looking for more versatility in flatter conditions, he was after better control and speed for a wider range of waves. It's got a relaxed and controlled feel provided by the round tail and the deep double concave that loosens things up and provides more lift and skate like feeling. The rail is a bit fuller and allows for rollover that doesn't catch. This rail and the natural rocker gives you better allowance for turns in small waves and gives you some looseness and drive in more relaxed conditions or critical conditions.
