Originally a favourite of Joel Parkinson's during heats back in 2009, JS Industries have made some refinements and updates to this excellent performance surfboard. The features of the Golden Child make it ideal for rail surfing and cutting through the water. It represents fast, powerful and intuitive surfing, and they've made some modern updates on the deck roll and rails. It's got a flatter vee deck compared to some of their other recent boards, which brings with it more sensitivity and responsiveness. With less concave than their Monsta model, it's got some extra hold that works well with the narrower tail and nose outline.

Ride it 1-2 inches longer than you're everyday shortboard, in the same width or 1/8 inch narrower. It's ideal conditions are for good and powerful waves.

Sizes 5'6" to 6'4" are glassed standard with 4 x 3oz glass on the deck and 4oz on the bottom. 6'5" and above are glassed with 4 x 4oz deck with 4oz bottom.
