Foam Dust, the story of FCD Surfboards

Foam Dust Full Movie - Watch Below

Founded in Ventura, California, FCD (Fletcher Chouinard Designs) has been crafting quality surfboards for over 20 years. FCD Surfboards has always been dedicated to making high performance boards that are as durable as possible and not only perform in all conditions but also last the test of time. For over two decades, FCD Surfboards has passionately crafted durable, high-performance boards using the finest materials available. They are more focused on making boards that you can keep for years to come, avoiding broken boards ending up in landfill and ensuring their team of surfers have the best gear for the toughest conditions around the world. This philosophy on making products for the harshest conditions while lasting the test of time, runs in the family, with Fletcher being the son of Yvon Chouinard the environmentalist, philanthropist and founder of Patagonia. With a cult following around the world, their board models are highly sought after, with popular models like the Huevo Ranchero, Mako Twin and the high performance Mullet shortboard, being go to models for free surf chargers like Dan Ross, Kohl Christensen and Ramón Navarro.

FCD and their commitment to innovation and quality is refreshing and it's clear it drives them to continually enhance their shapes and construction methods. Every board is meticulously shaped and glassed by their team of master craftsman based in Australia and Ventura California, utilising techniques and materials that are selected for the best performance and durability. Throughout the 20 year history of FCD, their boards have conquered waves on every continent, yet the company remains rooted in Ventura, California - Just half a block from where their journey began. At Boardcave we are stoked to bring the FCD range to our Australian community, in partnership with FCD and Patagonia.
