Pip

Pip

Gary McNeill

The Pip is a rounded pin twin fin surfboard that features Rasta's signature Torus channel for extra hold and control. The elimination of the rear fin to minimise drag and the channel running all the way up the board is a deadly combination of speed and drive. It works well in beach breaks and points but get it on a long open face and you will have yourself a dream run. The Pip also comes with an Eco Flax construction option for surfers looking for a green, sustainable surfboard.

Overall

I ordered this board in flax with bio resin and eps recycled foam. The board is built solid with high quality workmanship. Although I’ve only tested this board so far in slightly fatter 3ft beach breaks. I found out this board turns on a dime but still drives well down the line. I can already see this board would perform in better waves, and is where I think the board will excel. The tail is quite pulled in which is going to give you the control when the waves are optimal as your flying down the line. If your looking for a board that will perform in better waves, has speed to burn turns on dime but also the ability to do it all with control, the pip by Gary McNeil is worth your consideration.
