Introducing the Puddle Jumper Pro LightSpeed EPS: A Surfer's Dream Realized

The Puddle Jumper Pro LightSpeed EPS was born out of a thrilling challenge posed by our California sales representative, Nate Yeomans, a former World Tour surfer with an unquenchable passion for riding the PJHP. Together with our General Manager, Ben Kelly, an accomplished surfer in his own right, they embarked on a mission to elevate this beloved board into something extraordinary.

Their vision was clear and concise: "We want to extend the PJHP into more of a shortboard while retaining its signature 'skate-like' feel from the original and ensuring it still thrives as a quad setup." Both Nate and Ben are dedicated riders of the 5'6" x 20" 29.5 Liters PJHP, serving as their benchmark. Their journey began by starting with the 5'6" and extending it to 5'8", narrowing it down to 19.50", refining the nose and tail shapes, and amping up the nose rocker to align with the performance of a classic shortboard.

We approached this transformation with utmost care, preserving the distinctively low tail rocker and the profound transition from single concave to double concave, culminating in a pronounced vee in the tail. It's this unique bottom contour that provides the board with its exceptional power and control. The outcome? A forgiving, football-shaped outline that effortlessly glides at high speeds yet maintains the playfulness that defines the Puddle Jumper. With the quick agility and forgiveness of a pulled-in nose, complemented by the added rail length for holding sweeping arcs during longer, more critical carves and snaps, this board delivers the complete package for surfers seeking a thrilling and versatile ride.
