Great fast board for small waves. I rode it as a twin with a trailer fin and it’s a lot of fun. Good paddle power but definitely doesn’t feel like you’re surfing on a boat.

The Space Hawk is addictive...So much fun, and although this board has thickish rails, I've still found it turns beautifully because you'll ride it shorter than a normal short board. And it flies.
The only danger is surfing it too much, meaning you ALWAYS want to take it out, even when you might have been better off taking something to handle bigger waves a bit easier, or you'll take it out in some rubbish when you should have just stayed home...but either way, it still handles a range of conditions that aren't outrageous.
All up, as an intermediate surfer in shoulder-high waves (and conditions either side of that), this board just flies down the line. And it's Australian made, handcrafted, beautiful.

This board is versatile it works really well in various fin configurations, favorite is 2+1 in smaller to mid range surf ..thruster in overhead . It works from really well in anything from 2 ft to 8 ft The board has plenty of speed ,This board has the rocker to surf bigger waves and not so rocker much that it also goes well in smaller surf . transitions from rail to rail are smooth . This is my favorite daily driver to date .

Grate surfboard , but not for beginner .
its fell like skateboard on the water :)
its work beset from 3 ft , at smaller wave i think its better to take some other board. speed of the board is very good.
i found my self screaming from joy at the water.

Best description is that it’s very lively, it increases the fun level of surfing in smaller waves. Before I got my first epoxy or Hybrid type of construction, I was concerned it would not slice through the water on rail like a PU board BUT the Blakbox 3 had an amazing first impression and I just love how it can be both light and excited in less than ideal conditions yet still carve on rail like a full performance board. It’s my go to summer board this year

This board has been my daily driver for 4yrs. It brought back the love of surfing due to the ease of getting into waves and the predictability/stability. It performs well in all conditions and is super durable. It would have been surfed over a 1000 times and it barely has a mark on it. I have the epoxy ff model. If you are struggling to get into waves at your local beach or point break this will boost your wave count.

This board is just magical, whatever i paddle into it catches. I did oversize it a bit because I wanted this board to go in small crappy waves and it does but what has surprised me the most is how well it goes in chest high plus! Super easy to paddle, early takeoffs and it looks awesome! This board is a must for anyone looking for a daily driver in below head high waves but like I said, dont be afraid to take it out when it gets pumping too!
