Super fun board in almost any surf! I use this board in 1-2ft messy surf and almost never struggle to catch waves. Easy to maintain speed when the waves are sloppy and turns super easy with pretty good stability. This is my go to summer wave board however it does ding pretty easy and had a few pressure dings on it after my first few surfs.

Initially bought for a Bluff trip a year ago has now become my all-rounder. Incredible in hollow down the line waves but also works well in most conditions. A bit more rocker than I had in previous boards but it works especially in the WA power!

A classic board with a classic feel. Trims beautifully especially on those small clean days. It has a really solid feel underfoot while moving around on it. A go to board for the local point, I have the 9' 6" and it just keeps going on nearly every wave. As it says in the description this thing is a paddle machine, knees or prone, still amazes me how good it feels paddling out then catches waves with ease. Impressed by the quality of this board after having it for a while now, allround a fantastic log.

A great board that handles powerful sucky waves and mellower walls.
extra volume gets you in nice and early and feels positive with plenty of drive into turns.
A real confidence booster when things do start to get critical.
If you cant get in as regular this board is a great paddler and very forgiving.

Within the first surf I could feel the drive off the turns without having to get used to the new board. It goes very well in head high waves.
Definitely an all-rounder board as it goes well in small waves and bigger waves.

Having always ridden fish style boards or traditional thrusters, for 20 years, this board was an attempt to up the fun and lessen the frustration that creeps in when timing and fitness start failing. Let’s just say it worked. This board is a serious bit of eye candy beautifully made (especially for channel lovers) with great art options. Mine at 7ft comes with a round pin. Which Gary has developed into the two model on his site. I am running Gary’s upright handfoiled fins, I won’t lie and pretend that I can feel the difference between fins but this set up definitely works. Initially I struggled wrangling the extra size and volume in the line up but it glides on to waves pushing no water giving plenty of extra time to line things up. It is fast projecting me around sections I would normally struggle to make. So far I have surfed 1 to 5 ft beach breaks and it’s been very versatile holding in hollow waves and trimming on small runners. I look forward to some point waves to really feel it’s potential on some long walls. Basically can’t fault it, does everything I wanted from it in style.

If you haven’t seen one of these boards at your local you have somehow dodged a marketing machine.
Probably the best all rounder board I’ve ridden. It handles fat shoulders, hollow speed tracks and gutless wind swell with ease. But I must stress if you want a high performance board for the perfect 6ft reef break, this isn’t it. It does most things well but you will always find a better performance board or a better groveller. You just won’t find one board that does both better. If you haven’t the luxury of having a rack of specialised boards than this one board can essentially take the space of four others.
