I’ve had the Maxi PIP for about three months now and have surfed it mainly at pointbreaks and beachbreaks under 4foot. This is the first midlength shape I’ve surfed and I can honestly say it was the best decision I’ve made in my surfing life so far. My wave count has increased dramatically and I am probably having more fun on this board than I can recall on my usual shortboard. At first I tried the board with some futures upright twins and really felt the ‘slingshot’ coming out of the pocket of the wave after a cutback. I also pulled off some successful grabrail carves using the full length of the board which felt awesome. I switched out the futures for some torryn martyn signature fish keels (which have quite a large area) thinking this might suit my style of surfing better, but found that I didn’t have the weight (I am 70kg) to throw it around properly and went back to futures.
The board itself absolutely fangs and the Taurus channel helps this, I even had a stranger chat to me after a surf and commented that I was able to go very quick down the line with minimal effort in weak fat waves.
The tail is quite thin and pinched at the end which helps the board to pivot, I think I would personally prefer the MAXI PIPS diamond tail to Gary’s TWO model which features a rounded tail. However, the TWO might a better option in bigger more quality surf.
Despite the volume and width, the board duckdives easily and doesn’t feel like a log. Being a stretched out twin fin, it is a bit more difficult to ride on the backhand and I still haven’t quite figured it out but I am very excited to continue to experiment with this board

Sorry I can only talk in the Libtech Lost puddle jumper.
LOVE at first wave.
Really nice board Libtech has the checked in talk so less volume at tail section.
I ride it with a nubster and two larger side fins - love this combo. I have ridden larger waves - near double over head - just chucked in five big fins , surfed awesomely no chatter Libtech great technology and durable. A great travel board , maybe not if you are into deep pits but everything else sweet as.

An awesome board takes off really well and has meant my wave count is up, Flies down the line and floats over sections with ease. Ridden it as twin - I liked it responded well and didn't slide out (was small 2-3' surf)

As it says in the description just a perfect board for running waves on the smaller side (although seem to go fine when its bigger given the waves are right). Has no problems on weaker waves especially as we have the 9' 6", it excels at turning those conditions into a fun session. Clean days on this board have felt magic, glides into waves with ease and very forgiving for someone like me just starting to get more confident walking up onto the nose. The quality of these boards is amazing, and you can see the craftsmanship that goes into it. Great board.

Lived up to the memo.... my first Twinnie so it took a while to get used to, yet once dialled in it's great fun in various different conditions with a high performance bent to an old school classic. Not just a small fat wave go to, clean overhead waves are where it really shows it true colours with fast high speed carves. Surprising amount of drive (I have raked keel fins which probably helps).

Custom ordered board and thruster only. This has been one of the best small wave boards I have ever ridden. Works best in conditions from knee to head high surf. Will handle a bit more size but I prefer it in the size range mentioned. I usually only pull it out if it’s small and sub par conditions. Paddles easy with volume up under chest and carries well through flat sections. More a high performance grovellor than a grovellor.

Custom dimensions but one of the best boards I’ve had from Superbrand. Board worked well in waves from waist to overhead. Plenty of drive and very maneuverable. Worked well in all wave types from quick beach breaks to points and reef. Thinking of ordering another soon.

Can’t recommend this board enough. As someone who is taller and heavier, I got the extra foam offered in the 6’3 board and it makes such a difference.
Surfing has gone up another level and can’t be happier with my purchase

This board is so quick that, coming off 2+1s and thrusters, I still don't have it under control. It wants to go faster and turn tighter than I can keep up with but once you dial the liveliness in, the speed you can harness is something else. This is the smallest board I own and also required a bit of commitment to recalibrate the whole act of paddling in. I started with Rasta keels but found them too twitchy for my transition to twins, and changed to Needs upright keels which made the board that bit more predictable.
