This board was great had it for almost 2 years now and have rode it to death in a massive variety of conditions. Great glassing job which is probably why it's lasted so long. Very fast and drivey with the futures K2 keel fins and not skatey at all which I like. It really handles a lot of different types of waves and was my one board quiver for a while. Would recommend!

Pyzel makes amazing surfboards, and the Phantom is no exception. For everyday 2-6ft waves this board performs like a dream. It is thick and buoyant enough to have suffcient paddle power and stability. And once your up and riding it has a great capacity for shredding!
I highly recommend this board for anyone and everyone!

I have had this board for about a year now, it was a jack shaped board and I am in love with it! Recently snapped the nose... but I found it to be a pretty solid file. It’s a super fun board in anything under 5ft, so on the Sunshine Coast, pretty much perfect! It is a high performance board, however still is very forgiving, making for an epic session each day!

Bought this board stepping down from a Softboard. Great introduction to Short Boards and plenty of range for surf from knee height to slightly overhead.
Easy to control turns well and has plenty of speed to get down the line in small surf.
Will probably step down to a smaller board for when waves are a bit bigger but if you are looking to make the most of summer waves this is a great board.

Hands down the best daily driver I've had. Surfed well in most conditions between 2-5ft. The combination of medium nose and tail rocker, subtle concaves and forgiving rails make the board stable and drivey, yet allow easy turn initiation.
The squash tail is just the right width to allow hold on steeper waves, and release where needed.
Construction felt relatively light for a PU, but did not feel flimsy or weak.
Will definitely be buying another.

First high-performance shortboard for me so I'm probably not getting everything I can out of the board yet but man oh man is this board amazing. So light yet so stable, can't wait to get it in some bigger surf!

Such a fun board on your forehand !!!
Backhand was sticky and funky. I tried lots of various fin set ups to alleviate this issue but nothing worked, and I love quads and twins.
If you’re primarily riding this board on your forehand go wild but backhand was weird and frustrating.

I’ve had a few STACEYs and loved them but this thing just didn’t do it for me. It just felt like it was pushing water every time I paddled for a wave and just felt ordinary all up.
