The Bishop by Aipa was made in development with team rider Joel Bishop and is part of the brands Assassin Series. It's an enhanced daily driver that has a competition rocker and a pulled in nose outline. It has a rolled bottom that delivers on take off speed and the wide point of the board has been shifted back half an inch to give you a sturdy back foot sensation. This works well with it's rounded tail for tight snaps in the pocket, arcing rail turns and critical bottom turns.
For added performance, this board has a generous single under the front foot, into a deep single with double and moderate vee out of the tail. This combination makes it responsive and loose, with the vee giving you easy tipping for awesome rail surfing. The rails have a bit of a downturn that gives you responsive wave connection. They set out for this board to be an all around comp board, but it's also proven to be a great freestyle board for everyday use.
Designed to be ridden at your height or 1" below. It comes as a thruster fin set up, with Futures fin boxes.
Closed Cell EPS Core
Clear HD-Epoxy Resin
High quality E-Glass fiberglass
Full biax deck patch
Pop-flex stringer
PU foam rail inserts
Carbon tail patches
