The Shortcut is designed to be the board you need when your standard shorty is not enough, but your step up is a little too much. refined from the Next Step, but shrunken down with a slightly wider template. The tail has a little more volume for stability but as a round tail, you get plenty of control and performance in an array of waves.

The Shortcut is the perfect board when the waves get some juice, but your step up is a little too much. Wide point forward a touch, lower rocker with smooth transition, medium performance rail and the round tail, make this board easy to paddle in early, fast down the line, yet still able to jam in turns when the waves allows it. Order as a five fin set up to get all the potential out of this model.
