Surprisingly good board, great for small waves. It’s fast, and lively above the lip, but most of all it feels incredibly fluid between turns! It’s only drawback is that above 3ft it starts getting a bit sketchy and unpredictable, but 3ft and below its hard to go wrong. Wasn’t previously a big fan of HS but this board was certainly a pleasant surprise, have had 2 love buzzes now.

Super fun board, gets you into waves with ease and early.
Which is great if your advancing your surfing to an intermediate level, working turns into the pocket. Glides across flat sections and flys down the line.
This board will not disappoint.
For me this was a step down after riding a 7S Double Down 40 Litre for 2 years, which was awesome and super stable but not such a performer for tight turns.
The 3DX has been the perfect board for improving my surfing.

I’ve got a few LSD boards and my round tail eps tex is by far my most ridden board...... The thing paddles like a mini mal so hard not to ride this board whenever ocean lacks power which is the majority of the time it seems on the east coast .... Lately I’ve been riding this board as a twin year with a stabiliser in weak dribble and it’s like a new board goes soo good! I’d recommend a tex to anyone makes small / weak days fun and board still goes good when surf is decent too! Cheers Luke

Have had this board about 4yrs now and has never disappointed. Possibly the funnest board in my quiver. Easy to paddle, all over it when it's small and everyone else is struggling to catch waves and a thrill to ride in bigger stuff. Love this board, have 3 sets of fins to change things up, would get another but this one's still going.

This board makes average waves fun, it's so fast and is really easy to put on rail. Rides like a performance board but with a touch more volume so it's not quite as manoeuvrable as a pure performance board.
Holds up in head high plus conditions, but is more suited to 1-6 foot faces. Great in barrelling conditions, I got it as a fun board but it's a serious all rounder. When this gets run into the ground from frequent use I will be buying another, probably an epoxy model which in theory could be even better.
I ride 5'8" shortboards at 25-26L so I've gone a little higher in volume with this board (5'3") and it's perfect!
