Love my stump. Perfect when you want something that gives you the confidence to throw yourself into big shorebreak without the fear of getting fibreglass to the head. Went okay in smaller crumbly stuff but actually loved it most on a good medium size clean days. Not the best paddler but despite the short length packs plenty of float for 80kg.

So much fun. Bought it for one of the kids but I surf it more because it not only gets your paddle and balance skills up (so small for me) but once you are up it is so quick to turn and as it’s soft you have no fear of tucking in.

This is pretty much a perfect beginner board. It's helped me catch heaps of waves and hasn't knocked me out when I've come off it in spectacular fashion over and again (and yes, it has hit me in the head a number of those times). First up I was just in the white water, where it was plenty stable and fast enough to catch oncoming waves consistently. More recently, I've been catching a bunch of unbroken waves (2–4ft) and really feel like I'm getting better. Will probably look to get a fish pretty soon, but definitely keeping this one as well for fun and lending to friends when they visit Sydney.

I love this board, thrashed it, and keep coming back to it. Mine is fluro yellow and pink and you can't not have fun with it. I always have it stashed in the car for a quick session. It's fat and short, so super easy to paddle and surprisingly quick down the line, and manoeuvrable into the lip. The kids love it. It makes rubbish waves sort of fun. And it makes good waves a challenge. It has held up fairly well considering the belting I have given it over summer. The stock fins are fine.

Great board to learn on. Works in heaps of different conditions so there is no excuse to get in the water to keep practicing. Super stable and easy to paddle. I liked the 7" model because it's still a fun board you can keep as you progress with your surfing and move onto different boards. If you are really looking for an easy board as a beginner you could go for a 8" but it's more likely you will out grow the board quicker.

I really love this board, I bought it just as a summer groveler and to share with my daughter as a learn to surf board. But I seem to ride it all the time when the condition aren't the best for a short board and it's sick. You really do catch surf with these boards so much fun, they turn a shit surf into a good surf . Just swap the fins out for fcs 1 or fcs 2 fins and you'll need to do a bit of tweaking and it becomes a weapon.
