Spooked Kooks
Spooked Kooks has a goal to enhance surfing journey by fostering a connection with the ocean, integrating sustainability into their operations and, most importantly, preserving fun times. Founded by two mates in NZ, Spooked Kooks offers a large collection of soft surfboards and surf accessories.
The Kooks way is to give back to the environment and contribute to a world where surfing is cleaner. For instance, certain components of their softboards are made with recycled plastic waste where over 7,000kg of recovered plastic trash has been utilised so far in their boards. Learn more below.

Spooked Kooks
Started by a couple of friends in New Zealand, Spooked Kooks is an eco-friendly producer of soft surfboards, softboards, doing their part to contribute to a world where surfing is cleaner.
Plastic debris from post-consumer recycling is used in the construction of Spooked Kooks softboards. They developed the "ECO SLICK", which is made entirely of recycled plastic and covers the entire underside of the boards. In addition to the ECO SLICK bottoms, Spooked Kooks use recycled plastic to make the fins, leash plug, and fin key that come with each board..
