Captain Fin Co was established in 2007 by Mitch Abshere. It was founded to bring the humour back to the beach, with creative, unique designs. Mitch partnered with free surfers and friends to promote Captain Fin Co as an alternative to competitive surfers.The brand started by manufacturing unique and quirky surfboard fins, designed by surfers and artists such as Joel Tudor, Dane Reynolds, Noa Deane, Creed McTaggart, Alex Knost, Tyler Warren, Thomas Campbell, Andy Davis, Russ Pope and more. Captain Fin Co design and craft fins for all types of surfboards, from longboards to single fins, fish surfboards, performance short boards and more.
