Great small wave board, very skatey with lots of tail release when you want it. I didn’t like it as a quad. Some suggest going for a quad when it gets bigger but you’re not wanting to ride this board above head height anyway.

I bought the Carbon Wrap 3 years ago and surfed it about 30% of the time in then usual Sydney & NSW Mid North conditions. When the waves are fast, long walls, it flies. It’s super manoeuvrable -a true performance groveller, but without some Length it isn’t super easy paddling onto mush burgers, so don’t expect this board to excel in really soft, slow waves. If you’re coming back from an injury, put a bit of weight on, or are tired of dragging your aging corpse up onto toothpicks, but still was a hi performance feel, this is the board. If you’re more of a cruiser, and don’t want to pump, and work at it - maybe go something else. The carbon wrap construction is the best I’ve had (FireWire, JS Hyfi, CI epoxy) it’s still incredibly light, white and hardly any deck compression. I’ve hit a few folk on the rail and come off ok too! I’d definitely recommend. Thanks a million Boardcave. Luv Ya Werk

This board is an amazing purchase. It carries speed through any section with ease with minimal effort required. It slots in the pocket with ease allowing you to get at least 100 barrels per session. The amazing turns I have performed on this board can be compared to the likes of John John and Jordy and some were even better. I’m pretty much a pro. So in conclusion this board is 100/10 and will definitely be purchasing another if I send a 30ft air again and it unfortunately breaks.

Love this board. I'm 5'8" and 98kg and experienced intermediate+ surfer. It's just so easy and relaxing to surf. However it is no mini-mal, it performs. Won't go top to bottom and surf in the pocket like a smaller thruster but it does other things extremely well. The tail is refined so you can lay down some searing carves. It's an effortless board to ride. For a bigger or more relaxed surfer this is ideal. Paddles extremely well but you can still duck dive it easily. Very stable too for the intermediate surfer with the area up front. Not 100% sure on durability yet. My fingers have left tiny (just visible) indents up and down the rail on the bottom from duck diving. I think it's OK but not as durable as a nicely glassed PU board I don't think, in terms of denting anyway. Overall structural strength not tested in heavy waves. Overall a it's a definite buy recommendation if it suits your approach, weight and style of surfing.

Love this board. It's fantastic to ride and paddle on. I'd been riding a foamie for a while and wanted a board I could progress onto, build my confidence in turning, and make me want to get out in the water as much as possible. It's ticked all the boxes.

Great board - does exactly what the maker says- a board that performs in pretty much everything. Ridden it from slop to way overhead and it goes great. Maybe the thing i appreciate most, esp when the surf is big, is that it’s very dependable - heaps of hold, no quirks. I ride it as a quad. And reckon it will be fun ASA twin+1 too. Highly recommend.

I really enjoy surfing this board in most conditions, it is great. All my other boards are now under the house. Paddles well, is stable and draws the nice longer turns that I like. Beautiful in clean conditions but still goes great on the poor days.

The Twice Baked has held its own in weak, crumbly breaks, to 3-4 ft punchy waves, more than what I expected from a groveller. Paddles and catches like a mini mal with all the movability of a shortboard. The way I can work over white water patches is simply amazing. I was recommended by several stores to go for the 5'3, however, I wanted to cover weaker conditions easier along with more rail. Money well spent!!

This board went great on a long forehand wall. Smooth lines and heaps of drive. Channeled that old school vibe!!
