Catches every wave you paddle for. Easy stable board to ride. Hard work to dig in a rail and do a hard turn. Definitely a carving board, not made for radical stuff. Great for really bad small conditions.

The Seaside paddles extremely well getting into waves early. It's bottom design and narrow rail at the tail helps it hold into the wave and generate speed. Loving the board and it makes me wonder about the Seaside and Beyond as it has about the same volume at 6'8".

Great board speed through the flats and good when it gets a bit mushy so you surf more which is great right

Real happy with the board. Paddles easy and is quite mobile when turning down the line. I’m a tall guy and would recommend it to others. It’s Definitely an all rounder, works in the 1ft to 5ft range. Worth the money.

Do it all one board quiver! The hybrid that converted me from hi performance shortboards. Great everyday east coast board with future black stix fins. Daily indo driver (pre - covid) with honey comb fins Perfect barrel hunter on quad fins. Easy to paddle, catches waves and planes early. Turns on a dime. Still holds on the steeper hollower waves. Works in 1-5 feet. Highly recommendable to anyone. Don’t afraid to size this around your height and wider with slightly more volume. Ride at your usual rail thickness. Comparable boards: Hayden love buzz/ white noiz, CI NB2.

Just a great all rounder short board for the waves we get here in northern NSW. Especially find it great for beach breaks! Hyfi feels strong, probably partly because there is extra glassing when you get it at 6ft. I have MF thruster fins in the board And it feels great!

The board I got made has great movement and is really responsive. It turns incredibly well and I definitely will be looking at another one from Boardcave in the future. Thanks for your great site and I enjoy that you can have someone listen to your needs (feedback) and you get a masterful piece of work that helps you attack the waves the way you want. Cheers. Timm.

I absolutely love this board! I mainly surf smaller waves and this board paddles on to anything. It feels really stable under my feet and manoeuvres so easy. This was my first short board and my surfing has progressed so much because of this board. From being an advanced beginner when I purchased this board I’m now at (early) intermediate level. This board really has been as good as I hoped it to be. I’m currently riding it as a quad which is super fun.

I’m in a love hate relationship with this board! Have had some of my best waves ever on it but if I’m if I haven’t surfed in a while, you really have to work to get into waves. Perhaps it’s my height and the board being much shorted and flatter that I’m used to but I often find it hard to get into the take off once it gets a little steep. The flatness of this board that gives it such speed and acceleration does come at a price. Would buy again but it’s def not a quiver killer. Has its place but once the waves get good you’ll be wanting something that will get you up and going a little earlier.
