Fast, loves being put on rail and hits warps speed through long cutbacks. I've ridden mine with both Futures EN twins and Rasta keels and whilst the more upright ENs make it fun for punchy beachies the board definitely suits the keel fin much better. A lot of fun in 2-4ft beachies but the thing is magic on a point break when it get 4ft+ Only negative is I ordered custom dims to fit it down to a 5'7 and maintain volume. After riding the board for 2 years I should have ordered Gary's standard dims in 5'8 or 5'9, I think the slightly long rail line and thinner foil would be epic! She will not be leaving my quiver. Ever...

I ordered this custom through Gary. He was easy to deal with and prompt with communication. I offered suggestions as to dimensions for a step up Entity Pin. He thought they sounded good so I went ahead. I got the stringerless PU with carbon rails. This board works so well as a step up. In bigger, hollower waves it just sticks on the face with the rail holding in. It still turns easily and is manoeuvrable, just less so than my daily shortboard, but that is to be expected. It also doesn't float/paddle as well as my shortboard, but that's a firewire helium that's insanely light and buoyant. It does duckdive a million times better. The quality of this board is excellent. It was packed perfectly for transport and my nearly hundred kilo weight hasn't compressed the deck in any way. Thoroughly recommended.

Didn’t paddle as well as I would have liked/relative to other boards in my quiver, possibly due to the Torus channel. Once on the wave it’s fine. Surfs great on the backhand for a twin fin, seems to have a lot of ‘grip’ and not slide out too much! Takes abit if adjusting to get used to the channel but after a few surfs its epic.

This board was great had it for almost 2 years now and have rode it to death in a massive variety of conditions. Great glassing job which is probably why it's lasted so long. Very fast and drivey with the futures K2 keel fins and not skatey at all which I like. It really handles a lot of different types of waves and was my one board quiver for a while. Would recommend!

Having seen Rasta and Dane tearing on this board I wanted to give it a go, I have always loved quads but the RTT is faster with more drive, with a big set of fins this board is crazy fast but with hold as well, I surf this board like a quad or thruster and it feels the same. I ride this board more than any other in Sydney, it’s still short so I can fit it into smaller pockety rip bowls but loves an open wall as well. I’ve had a lot of standard glass job boards that have really worn out in a few seasons, this one has a decent amount of glass and after a year still looks and rides the same as new.

After trying a few different modern fish models in the past 5 years or so and having a great experience with another one of Gary’s models (the Entity), I ordered a custom shape of The Torus Twin and was not disappointed. Paddles well, holds in decent size waves, turns beautifully and goes like a rocket! Well worth the investment.

I've ridden over 70 boards all my life and the Entity is by far the best board I've ever ridden. Paddles easy, goes great in small surf and it's outstanding in bigger surf, I feel like everything I try to do comes out perfectly when I surf it. Addictive board.

This is a fantastic board for just taking out without knowing what its going to be like because it works in tonnes of different conditions. I would say that I find myself often wondering if I would've liked going a bit longer in order to make it work better for waves on the very small and very large end of the spectrum.
