Funnest board i have ever riden. In weak under head height surf you can catch practically any wave and due to its great drive, it makes the waves seem more powerful than they are.

The Uber Driver first came out in 2018 as a small wave performance board. Earlier this year for 2019 Matt made some revisions to the original Uber Driver to make it faster in small gutless surf. After making those revisions he added Uber Driver XL for what he calls the “Bro Dimensions.” The UD XL suits the bigger guy or average weekend warrior surfer that wants a little more foam under foot in a shorter, wider, thicker package that can still rip. The UD XL is legit in my book…. it’s fast, forgiving, and it offers great flow through maneuvers. The extra foam in the XL dimensions is distributed very well and offered excellent performance in 2-6’ surf. You East coast guys that like shredding 1-2’ surf on boards with a HPSB outline will be stoked on the UD XL.

Purchased this board to get back into surfing again after a few years off and a few kgs heavier. Wanted a bit of a one board quiver and so far has been great. Surfed mostly in 1-3ft surf, paddles into waves easily and holds surprisingly well in waves with a bit more punch. Has been ideal for what I wanted and 2 years later is still in excellent condition.

The Rad Ripper is a great little board. I would probably have gone with the 6.0 if I had my time over. I underestimated the buoyancy with the extra width of this board and would recommend this board be purchased at or a little below your ideal volume for experienced surfers. It is fast and responsive and handles not so perfect conditions well. The only negative I have is I am catching a rail now and then on backhand bottom turns. It maybe a covid thing though as I have been drinking a lot more beer and it maybe affecting my timing. A few fin changes have been crucial also, I find it way prefers a more upright fin like the Reactor. The more swept fin seems to just want to drive down the line looking for the end.

Best small wave (3 foot and under) all rounder I’ve ever had, perfect addition to a two board quiver.

I have the round pin puddle jumper, really fun board with lots of volume but still manoeuvrable. Works as a quad or thruster and have taken it out in a wide range of conditions from knee high to over head, every time enjoying it. This board has definitely helped me progress with its wider shape and extra volume.
