Don’t be fooled by the unorthodox look of this board, they perform. When I first saw the outline, I must say I was slightly apprehensive but after my first few waves, I knew this board was a keeper. The thickness is kept in the rails so it’s stable and glides through fats section with ease but still allows you to bury the rail when needed. What I loved most is the hip in the tail. The foam up the front generates speed but combined with the comparatively narrow tail, allows you to hold in more effectively during your turns, so you can go a lot harder off the top, which has always been a downside for me when using slightly thicker, shorter step down boards. It would be remiss of me not to mention the construction. In terms of epoxy surfboards, the hayden shapes future flex epoxy is up there as one of the most durable and responsive epoxy boards on the market. Having ridden epoxy exclusively for the past 5 years or so, the only other one that’s come close in strength and flexibility is the JS hyfi. For a great small wave all rounder that you don’t have to nurse through turns, the Holy Grail is your answer.

Excellent board from small fat summer waves right up to solid 4-5' pumping surf. Excellent quality, had it 2 years and very hard to damage/ding, very stable.

Very well built and super fun board. Very fast as a quad but a little tracky for me. But loved it as a twin with the Rasta keels. Catching waves easily.

Super fun board. Perfect board if you can’t choose which board to ride just grab this one and you can’t go wrong in any conditions. Can’t get it in the water enough.

Love this board. Handles all wave conditions but absolutely love surfing it at URBNSURF. Best board for the wave park with the extra buoyancy.

Amazing in all conditions, was really surprised how a small board went so well in overhead conditions. Unreal under the feet with great response, use the Machado tri fin keels also
