I surf this size like ultimate mini-mal with tons of paddle power, but once I catch with wave - which feels like cheating with this thing - it really flies and it quite nimble for me. I've surf both as quad and a thruster - personally, I think the thruster is a happier set up for this tail but the quad worked great on relatively weak waves that I wanted to get some speed down the line. In short, super-duper fun, wave-count making machine.

Great board! I felt a nice connection from the first wave. It’s responsive and fast but also stable so it allows me to time the maneuvers perfectly.

Fun little skate/like board that allows quick maneuvers. I prefer it as a quad than a thruster. With the thruster I feel like it’s a little bit too slow in small waves but perhaps it will work with slightly bigger fins. A good board overall

Great all rounder, been on heaps of Bali trips loves a clean open face, chuck a smaller back fin in under 6’ and it will loosen up, go a bigger fin if you’ve got the clinkers for the bigger stuff !

Love this board originnaly bought for my son but while he’s off at college I “borrowed” it and love it! Didn’t think I could surf such a performance board but it’s very forgiving and stable now I’m ready for my own !

This thing is a weapon, I almost use it for every kind of surf condition. Anything from 1ft to 8ft is this things happy place, I’m on the Central Coast in NSW so to have a board like this pretty well guarantees me waves without checking the surf. Sick board, absolutely love it.

First board I have gotten completely attached too. Works in nearly all conditions and have turned this into my everyday shortboard , Even tho I would usually ride something around 6ft . The future flex has really good pop and release. A really good fast carving board and have been surfing the shit out of it and still in perfect knick. Surfed it in some more pumping solid stuff and was epic. Love it

I got the driver 2.0 round tail specifically for solid 6ft indo waves. I normally ride 5’8”s @ 27L Unfortunately due to covid I have not had the chance to ride this in Indo. I have tho ridden this in punchy 6ft beachies all over the Gold and Sunshine Coast and I instantly felt a sense of confidence with this board in hollow conditions and late drops. The paddle speed generated helped me “get in” a little earlier than usual. It felt very stable under foot and held in nicely with my bottom turns and did not feel “skatey”... the harder I pushed the better it went. I believe I could ride this up into the Ulu’s 8ft range. The only small bit of criticism I have for this board was that it required a bit more effort to generate speed in the 3ft size and didn’t give that snappy feeing. This is most likely was due to the purpose of a round tail design and I would recommend the squash tail if you were looking to ride it in that manner and conditions. Over all, for the intended purpose in which I planned to surf it in... I’m stoked with my choice. I’m very sure I’ll be riding some amazing waves on this board with great confidence on my next over due Indo adventure.
